By shaping how sales planning connects with inventory health, financial optimization and Retail growth, this will be a key driver of our mission to build one of the most competitive and efficient Retail organizations in the Philippines.
Key Pillars of the Role
• Sales Planning & Forecasting
Lead end-to-end monthly sales planning process, delivering accurate GMV and profitability forecasts that balance commercial ambition with market realities, while ensuring timely execution and cross-functional alignment.
Ensure sales planning is fully integrated with commercial strategies, key building blocks and financial objectives.
Collaborate with regional team to continuously review and enhance the overall sales planning process..
• Availability & Healthy Inventory Management
Optimize inventory levels to avoid slow-moving stock and maintain healthy working capital.
Secure product availability to deliver a strong user experience and minimize GMV loss from stockouts.
• Inventory Risk Mitigation & Commercial Partnership
Conduct analysis of commercial agreements and sales performance to generate insights that strengthen negotiation outcomes.
Reduce inventory expiry through proactive planning, timely promotions and effective sell-through strategies and work closely with commercial and finance teams to design effective flush-out campaigns and promotions that optimize storage utilization and mitigate inventory risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a trusted partner to commercial teams, aligning sales planning with their strategies and enabling by extend smooth Retail operations.
Foster strong cross-functional relationships to ensure insights flow seamlessly and decisions are made with clarity with all stakeholders.
• Local Capability Building & Expertise Sharing
Lead and develop our sales planning function, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement across all stakeholders, and share expertise in demand planning, product knowledge and supply chain processes to strengthen our Retail team capabilities and ensure consistent execution.
• Ad-Hoc Project Driver
Lead or contribute to cross-functional strategic projects that drive measurable value by supporting Retail initiatives beyond core responsibilities, enhancing user experience or identifying performance improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years’ of proven experience in demand or sales planning, , preferably in Retail, FMCG or e-commerce; prior experience managing a small team of 2- 3 people is a plus
• Solid experience in demand forecasting and inventory management, with the ability to leverage historical data, seasonality, promotions and market insights to generate accurate and actionable forecasts
• Advanced analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel; experience in BI/forecasting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, SAP IBP, etc.) is a must
• High proficiency in Excel and Macros; working knowledge of SQL is a plus
• Proven ability to deliver results in dynamic and ambiguous settings, with sharp attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
• A detail-oriented individual with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of aligning and influencing across functions
What Success Looks Like
In the first 3–6 months, the successful candidate will:
• Produce timely and accurate monthly sales plans that ensure alignment across functions
• Enhance forecast accuracy and maintain strong product availability while minimizing overstock
• Implement proactive processes to reduce inventory risks, including scrapped stock and high storage utilization
• Foster close collaboration with Commercial teams, positioning Sales Planning as a trusted partner in driving growth
• Act as a key driver of Retail success by connecting demand planning, execution and sales performance
