RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead collaborative planning across First Mile functions to ensure optimal route design, capacity build-up, and efficient end-to-end processes. Integrate reliable capacity planning with historical data to achieve the right balance between cost efficiency (resource productivity) and service excellence (lead time).
• Manage Pick-up Planning (BAU and Campaign): Oversee daily and weekly seller and station pick-up planning, ensuring optimal vehicle productivity, utilization, and a seamless seller experience.
• Drive Route Design and Optimization: Maintain overall route plan by maximizing efficiency, minimizing resource wastage (fleet, mileage, man-hours), and eliminating overlap of routes covering the same merchant.
• Develop a Data-Driven Operations Planning Framework: Build both tactical (long-range) and operational (weekly-to-daily) planning layers to enable integrated and data-centric First Mile operations.
• Deliver Accurate Volume Forecasting: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly volume predictions that determine vehicle capacity requirements, including vehicle allocation, unloading plans, and arrival schedules at sortation centers.
• Monitor Forecast Accuracy and Operational Efficiency: Track volume injection forecasts and manage deviation margins to achieve vehicle productivity, utilization, and pick-up performance targets.
• Collaborate with Central Planning and Support Teams: Work closely with regional and PH planning groups to align capacity, improve accuracy, and ensure smooth execution of First Mile operations.
• Perform Data Analysis and Performance Reviews: Interpret complex datasets to identify cost and performance gaps, recommend actionable improvements, and support decision-making for both local and regional teams.
• Identify and Resolve Operational Gaps: Partner with Route Ops and DOP Ops to diagnose issues, drive corrective actions, and ensure process compliance.
• Develop and Maintain Dashboards: Create and sustain internal First Mile dashboards for performance tracking and reporting.
• Maintain LEX First Mile Configuration Systems (LOP/LNP/Galaxy): Oversee seller mapping, review and approve seller information updates (3PL assignments, address or shipment type changes).
• Support System Enhancements and Cost Optimization Initiatives: Participate in improvement projects and system developments that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
2、More than 5 years of experience in network planning, preferably in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
3、Solid understanding of transportation management, warehouse operations, and supply chain optimization techniques.
4、Proven leadership skills, with experience managing a team and driving performance in a dynamic environment.
5、Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions based on insights (with expertise in Excel, data visualization, Google Maps, and other statistical tools)
6、Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels. 7、Familiarity with the Philippines logistics landscape and regulatory requirements is a plus.
Note: This position is based in Manila, Philippines, and is part of the LAZADA team. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to driving operational excellence within the First Mile network.
