Senior Associate, Accounting (GL)-Indonesia Controllership
Drive Spotter
Review and validate journal entries prepared by Shared Service teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper accounting treatment.
Maintain balance sheet substantiations and supporting schedules, ensuring integrity and audit readiness.
Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and disposals.
Support the preparation and submission of reports for local statutory, regulatory, and tax authorities.
Independently manage and build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including Shared Services, FP&A, Tax, and business stakeholders.
Ensure ongoing compliance with corporate finance policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
Participate in ad hoc projects and provide support for business and finance initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, and standardization efforts.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation, analysis, and responses, including group reporting requirements.
Proactively identify, drive, and implement process improvements within the Record-to-Report (R2R) function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Actively promote a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration within the finance team and with stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP or other ERP software, and advanced MS Excel.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of PSAK (Indonesian GAAP) and IFRS.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Language: Good command of English, both verbal and written, for reporting.
Audit background and SAP experience is highly desirable.
Has a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and can participate in a broad spectrum of accounting/financial reporting responsibilities.
Excellent technical knowledge and a solid understanding of the activities performed in the entire finance function.
Strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to conduct meetings and present ideas to groups of colleagues.
Self-starter who brings energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every responsibility task.
Able to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change.
Must be innovative and willing to take initiative.
