Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Strategic Account Manager to lead the growth of Lazada Sponsored Solutions across Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia). This role combines strategic B2B product marketing, data analytics, and cross-functional leadership to drive adoption of our advertising platform among cross-border sellers. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in e-commerce ecosystems, digital advertising, and B2B marketing to craft innovative strategies, optimize seller performance, and deliver scalable growth for Lazada’s advertising business.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
○ Understand brand marketing objectives, pain points, and opportunities to design tailored Sponsored Solutions strategies.
○ Develop and execute B2B product positioning, narratives, and campaigns that differentiate Lazada’s offerings in competitive Southeast Asian markets.
○ Manage advertising operations for Chinese cross-border sellers on Lazada, including campaign strategy design, localization, and performance optimization.
2. Project & Campaign Execution
○ Lead end-to-end project management: design workflows, prioritize tasks, and coordinate internal/external teams to deliver high-impact campaigns and product launches.
○ Collaborate with Strategic Account Management team to maximize client adoption of Sponsored Solutions and achieve measurable business outcomes (e.g., traffic, sales, ROI).
○ Oversee governance, traffic generation, and performance optimization for Chinese sellers.
3. Data-Driven Insights
○ Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to help brands optimize marketing spend.
○ Conduct market research to identify seller segments, analyze use cases, and develop data-backed personas for targeted messaging.
○ Utilize analytics tools (Excel, SQL, AI integrations) to derive insights and create compelling business proposals .
4. Relationship Building
○ Build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, including sellers, agencies, and internal teams (product, strategy, operations, commercial).
○ Equip commercial account managers with tools and insights to promote Sponsored Solutions effectively.
Job Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Business Analytics or related fields.
2. Experience:
○ 5+ years of progressive experience in B2B product marketing, e-commerce, or digital advertising.
○ Proven success in strategic account management, project leadership, or business development roles (experience in management consulting or cross-border e-commerce is a plus).
3. Technical Skills:
○ Advanced data analytics proficiency (Excel, SQL, marketing analytics tools).
○ Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and ad tech ecosystems.
4. Soft Skills:
○ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and storytelling abilities to articulate value propositions to internal/external stakeholders.
○ Strong leadership and cross-cultural collaboration skills to manage diverse teams across Southeast Asia.
○ Resilient problem-solver with a growth mindset and customer obsession.
5. Language:
○ Native Chinese Mandarin proficiency (written and verbal).
○ Business-level English fluency.

Preferred Attributes
● Demonstrated success in launching and scaling digital advertising products.
● Deep understanding of Southeast Asian consumer behavior and digital marketing trends.
● Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional campaign execution.
● Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau to extract actionable insights from advertising data and drive data-informed decisions that optimize ROI and campaign performance is a plus. Experience integrating AI tools into workflows for automation or insights generation is a plus.
