The Role

The Senior Director of Sales will be responsible for leading all aspects of Dyrt’s revenue generation, including business development, sales strategy, pricing model development, and team training. This role reports directly to the Founder and CEO and serves as a key member of the leadership team.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding Dyrt’s footprint in waste, commercial, hospitality, and event industries, leveraging existing partnerships and networks to build a scalable sales operation.

Sales Leadership Strategy

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with Dyrt’s mission and growth targets.
  • Build a repeatable and data-driven sales process to improve forecasting and pipeline visibility.
  • Create and manage pricing models and partnership structures for composting and data services across markets.
  • Team Development
  • Serve as mentor and sales trainer for the sales team establishing best practices for outreach, presentations, and closing.
  • Create structured onboarding and ongoing training programs for sales representatives.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
  • Partnership Expansion
  • Leverage existing relationships within grocery, hospitality, restaurant, and sports/event sectors to open new partnerships.
  • Collaborate with enterprise and sustainability teams to integrate composting into ESG programs.
  • Develop case studies and success stories to drive credibility and growth.
  • Revenue Operations
  • Own the sales funnel and forecasting process; track KPIs through CRM.
  • Partner with marketing to develop lead generation campaigns and content for target industries.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance to ensure pricing models are sustainable and scalable.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally in sustainability, waste management, or environmental services.
  • Proven track record of developing partnerships and closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and consultative selling.
  • Experience building and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.

Compensation: This role offers a base salary plus commission, with total earnings tied to performance and impact.
