At Echo Labs, we’re on a mission to make higher-education content accessible to d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing students. For this, we’re seeking spanish remote transcribers to join our rapidly growing team to transcribe educational content in spanish. In this role, not only will you be able to choose your own hours while getting paid above-market rates, you’ll also play a pivotal part in helping make education accessible to a wider audience. Only those with significant past transcription experience and a genuine passion for accessibility will be considered. Start date ASAP!

Compensation:

Project-based; $60 per captioned hour guaranteed with the ability to make up to $120 per captioned hour with bonuses over time.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish
• 3-5 years of transcription experience
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with transcription software or tools
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to understand diverse accents and dialects with varying dictation styles
• Access to a headset, computer, and strong internet connection
• AAERT Certification (preferred)
