As Finance Manager, you’ll build the backbone of our finance function while acting as a thought‑partner to the entire C‑suite. From forecasting growth and prepping the next funding round to designing the dashboards that customers and investors rely on, you will turn numbers into strategy—and strategy into action.
Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 USD (commensurate with experience)
Reports To: CEO (with daily collaboration across the COO & CTO)
Responsibilities
Executive Decision Support
- Translate monthly financials into concise board decks and executive briefs.
- Model ROI for new product bets and go‑to‑market experiments.
- Perform ad‑hoc analyses to answer “what‑if?” questions from the CEO, COO, and CTO.
Forecasting & Growth Modeling
- Own and continually refine a dynamic 3‑statement model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Layer in historical trends, sales pipeline data, and industry benchmarks to project growth scenarios.
- Provide clear runway, burn, and unit‑economics views for leadership.
Fundraising Readiness
- Own and continually refine a dynamic 3‑statement model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Layer in historical trends, sales pipeline data, and industry benchmarks to project growth scenarios.
- Provide clear runway, burn, and unit‑economics views for leadership.
Customer‑Facing Dashboards
- Partner with Product & Engineering to create KPI dashboards that help customers understand their own money flows.
- Ensure data accuracy, intuitive UX, and storytelling quality inside the Elektrik platform.
Operational Finance & Compliance
- Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance with external advisors.
- Implement policies, controls, and best‑practice workflows as we scale.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or similar analytical finance roles (startup/SaaS experience strongly preferred).
- Proven mastery of financial modeling in Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with SQL and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Track record of turning complex data into clear, executive‑level recommendations.
- Solid grasp of fundraising mechanics, cap‑table math, and investor reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment and balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a bonus—not a must.
