Enermo Technology is formally founded in 2019 by Jacob Clausen and Inder Mukhopadhyay as result of years research within maintenance optimization and experience with analyzing real-time vessel data. The company’s mission is to enable the maritime industry to transition from planned maintenance to condition based maintenance, to improve safety, reliability, predictability and operating costs.
Enermo Technology has developed a cost-effective and scalable solution for monitoring electrical driven machinery in real-time on board vessels using high frequency data sampling (160.000 Hz) in order to detect component failure at very early stage. The solution consists of on board hardware to capture and transmit data to a cloud database, where from data can be analyzed. The solution uses the technology of Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) to detect faults in induction motors or generators. The main advantage of the technology is that its does not come at high costs, can easily be installed by ships crew and is non-invasive as it does not interfere with existing installations on board.
