Position Details

The Healthcare Recruiter conducts the full cycle recruitment process for both exempt (management) and non-exempt (staff and caregiver) positions and other duties as assigned. This position manages a high-volume recruiting process for CarePros (caregivers).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to candidate sourcing, phone screening, applicant tracking, pre-hire and on-boarding, and coordination of new hire orientations and other functions as assigned.

Job Duties

  • Manages high volume CarePro hiring process.
  • Collaborates with Operations team to determine CarePro staffing needs.
  • Meets and exceeds position KPI’s.
  • Collaborates with president to provide solutions to overcome hiring challenges.
  • Promotes Family First’s reputation as a best place to work.
  • Acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Drafts job ads for exempt and non-exempt positions, utilizing input received from hiring manager, job descriptions and relevant criteria for job postings.
  • Posts job requisitions to the company applicant tracking system (ADP) and manages sponsorship on job sites (Indeed, ZipRecruiter and LinkedIn).
  • Sources applications and conducts initial screening interviews of qualified applicants following Family First interview process. Obtains information on candidate work history, training, education and job skills.
  • Conducts searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, utilizing job boards and various social media platforms, various social networks and job fairs and employee referrals.
  • Determines qualified candidates and adds qualified applicants to Recruiting tracker for hiring manager review. Provides candidate relevant details and rating to hiring team.
  • Schedules in person or virtual interviews for hiring teams.
  • Provides external and internal candidates with information regarding industry, client services provided, operations, benefits, and career advancement within the organization.
  • Maintains current applicant tracking system and spreadsheets.
  • Drafts offer letters following company pay structure and gets approval of offer letters following company approval process.
  • Extends offers to qualified candidates and reviews compensation and other relevant job information with candidates.
  • Regularly updates hiring team of applicant and job statuses. Follows up with hiring team as needed to keep the recruiting process moving forward.
  • Maintains documentation collected throughout the hiring process for all candidates.
  • Follows best practices and ensures compliance with EEOC, ADA and other applicable laws.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources to ensure all pre-hire and onboarding processes are followed.
  • Conducts candidate background checks and references.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent education or experience; Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Previous experience with ADP a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite a must
  • High volume recruiting experience highly preferred
  • Experience in home/healthcare industry highly preferred

Compensation: Family First is committed to providing market competitive, equitable pay to all employees

Compensation Range: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
