Role Summary

The Operations Associate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that processes remain both efficient and effective, and leading a team to meet organizational goals.

Your Role

Your responsibilities as an Operations Associate are as follows but not limited to;

· Ensure accurate record of shipments picked up by Riders.

· Ensure that the SOPs are adhered to on a daily basis.

· Complete daily call over- inventory, dash board update & packages sent out for delivery.

· Establishing objectives for increased output and improved efficiency.

· Liaise with Partners to create a good working relationship to be able to strike good negotiations for transportation of goods, and to prevent hiccups that may arise on the job.

· Ensure proper zoning of shipments assigned to Riders.

· Formulate strategic and operational objectives.

· Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.

· Provision of accurate information needed by Customer Service team or Partners on shipments.

· Ensure daily call over with is done to ascertain that all items dispatched for deliveries were actually delivered and updated on the dashboard.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an operational role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, including MS Office and any industry-specific platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and operational best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
