Fieldmade is a Norwegian technology company based in Oslo, on a mission to digitize supply chains through additive manufacturing — enabling customers to produce high-quality, critical parts exactly where and when they are needed.
As we enter an exciting scale-up phase with strong international growth, we are strengthening our financial foundation and looking for a Financial Manager to take full responsibility for our financial operations.
In this key role, you will take ownership of Fieldmade’s financial functions- ensuring strong financial control, high-quality reporting, and strategic decision-support as we scale internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Take overall responsibility for the company’s financial management
- Oversee statutory reporting and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Ensure strong internal controls and sound financial governance
- Act as the primary point of contact towards, and coordinate and quality assure the day‑to‑day work of, our external accounting partner
Financial Planning, Controlling & Reporting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, building solid financial routines and procedures
- Conduct project controlling, including cost allocation, forecasting, and reporting across multiple ongoing projects
- Provide management and the board with financial insights and decision support
Cash Flow, Capital & Long-Term Financial Strategy
- Manage liquidity and cash flow with accurate short- and medium-term forecasts
- Participate in the preparation and execution of our upcoming funding rounds.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities and support capital allocation decisions
- Monitor market conditions, assess financial risks, and identify strategic opportunities for improving Fieldmade’s financial position
Systems, Tools & Process Development
- Develop and contribute to long-term financial strategy aligned with Fieldmade’s growth ambitions
- Contribute to pricing models, cost baselines, and commercial offerings
- Act as system owner for Xledger (ERP), and help shape future finance systems and tools
- Collaborate with external finance partners and contribute to the development of a scalable and high‑performing finance function
We believe you have:
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience within finance, ideally as Financial Manager, Business Controller, Finance Business Partner or similar
- Degree in finance, accounting, or economics – relevant experience can compensate for formal education
- Comfortable handling cross-border operations, currencies, and contracts
- Experience from international, industrial, or tech-driven environments
Technical & Financial Skills
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills with clear financial communication
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems (Xledger experience is a plus)
- Experience with investment decisions or capital allocation
- Strong risk assessment and market analysis skills

- Ability to contribute to long-term financial strategy
- Advanced financial analysis and forecasting capabilities
