We are a software and service company that works with major players in healthcare, education, governments, and nonprofits. As a rapidly growing company our financial tasks, responsibilities, projects, and research are growing and evolving at an exciting pace.
This hire will work directly with the Senior Manager of Finance, our accountants and controller to take on various projects, from budgeting, to analyzing various financial metrics, to taking on major new financial initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Key role in budgeting, forecasting, and the associated analytics
- Identifies and interprets implications of drivers and trends for business strategy
- Consolidates and analyzes operational and financial information and trends from internal and external sources and communicates results and recommendations to Senior Management
- Develops models, processes and reports to track key business metrics, analyze and interpret data
- Identifies operational and financial trends and leads analysis to proactively address business issues
- Drives enhancement of policies, procedures and business practices that improve efficiency within the function and the business
- Acts as a consultant to help internal clients understand the financial impact of their business decisions, providing alternatives with accompanying analytics
- Works closely with the accounting team to ensure timely month-end close and assists in preparing financial reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Finance or Accounting concentration preferred, with at least 1 to 3 years’ experience in a Finance related role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practice
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with working knowledge of G Suite
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional working relationships and add value as a financial business partner
