QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience- At least 7 yrs experience providing financial leadership for startups [CFO, financial manager, etc.]- Experience in startup fundraising, having either worked with a startup that has raised VC capital or been a founder that has raised capital- Experience with interacting & reporting to a Board of Directors- Expert financial analysis, modeling & reporting experience- Advanced experience with Excel / Google Sheets & Powerpoint / Google Slides- Strong communicator who can explain complex financial concepts in easy to understand waysJob DescriptionOur Ideal Startup CFOYou’re a leader, an independent person who is self-motivated and is looking to work with equally talented people. You will be the “Finance Yoda” of the team, helping customers think through challenging financial problems & prepping them for scale.Your Responsibilities- Customer Love: You will be working hand in hand with customers, acting as an extension of their team to provide financial leadership. Through your interactions, you will be carrying the Forecastr brand, and we expect the highest quality of customer service.- Financial Leadership: Our customers are looking to you to help them think through their financial challenges. As a financial leader, you will be at the forefront of providing them with valued guidance. Your leadership will include things like Forecast Management / Updates, Scenario planning, Financial Analysis, Fundraise Planning, Investor Reporting, & Strategic Guidance.- Project Management: While you will be “running the show” on customer engagements, you will be working with analysts and associate CFO’s to provide support as needed.- Systems for Scale: As a Startup, Forecastr is always looking for ways to scale for growth. You will be expected to adhere to our current systems, and augment/improve where necessary to better set us up for further success.
