Manager, Software Engineering – Funnel Leasing Inc – Odessa, FL.

Job Duties: Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality software products within the company. Lead a team of software engineers and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects. Manage the engineering team, implement agile methodologies, and drive technical excellence across the organization. Build, mentor, and lead a team of high-performing software engineers. Establish clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the engineering team. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages cross-functional teamwork and innovation. Facilitate professional development and continuous learning by fostering open communication and a feedback-driven environment. Implement talent acquisition strategies to attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent. Collaborate with product management and design teams to define project requirements and timelines. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Drive engineering best practices, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and automated testing. Manage technical debt and ensure the adoption of new technologies as needed. Perform other duties as assigned and modified at the director’s discretion. Implement scalable processes and tools to support the company's growing engineering needs. Continuously improve engineering processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

Minimum Requirements: Must have 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. Must have 4 years of experience in backend development using Python and frontend development using React. Must have 4 years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. Must have 2 years of experience in the Proptech industry including experience in the U.S. apartment rental leasing sector. Must have 1 year of experience managing a team of at least five software engineers or software developers across multiple time zones. 100% telecommuting role; may work from any U.S. location – reports to company headquarters in Odessa, FL. Up to 5% U.S. domestic travel is required.
