What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a passionate Junior Android Developer to join our team. In this role, you will help develop and enhance mobile applications that power our sustainable financial solutions. You will work closely with our design, product, and backend teams to build user-friendly, high-performance apps for various Android devices. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile applications using Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Ensure compatibility and optimization across multiple device types, screen sizes, and capabilities.
• Collaborate with designers using tools like Figma to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, high-quality user interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality and application performance.
• Integrate with backend services and APIs to provide a seamless user experience.
• Work with version control systems, particularly Git, for codebase management.
• Stay up-to-date with Android development best practices and emerging trends.
• Contribute to team collaboration and support knowledge sharing through documentation and peer interactions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in mobile app development using Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Familiarity with Android UI/UX design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience in building apps that support multiple screen sizes, device types, and Android versions.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
• Proficiency in version control using Git (e.g., branching, merging, resolving conflicts).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, including designers.

• Experience with mobile app performance optimization.
• Understanding of modern architectural patterns such as MVVM.
• Basic knowledge of animations and transitions to enhance user experience.
• Experience working with designers in Figma to implement accurate designs.
