Farms, factories, mines and seafood employers worldwide need a technology solution for recruitment & engagement, and workers need an accessible, trustworthy source of job information. Recruitment and communication between workers and employers is still done via word of mouth, text and phone calls, even though most farmworkers now own a smartphone. We use technology that's accessible for a low literacy, Spanish-speaking workforce, seamlessly integrating with Facebook and SMS. Employers can get urgent messages on to hundreds of workers at a time via in-app messaging and SMS. Employers and brands can monitor food safety and labor risks through anonymous surveys.
