We’ve developed a Web-App (DUCK) which allows users to scan a QR code, view the menu, order/pay, and receive an SMS when their order is ready for pick-up. This streamlined solution ensures fans don’t have to choose between lining up and seeing the action, reducing their desire for pre/post game alternatives. Vendors can optimise for the greatest possible output by using less resources on manual ordering and payment, as well as capturing spectator data and purchasing habits.
Our vision is to be a “Whole of Sport” solution to food & beverage ordering, with DUCK being utilised at both professional and community sporting organisations. Soon, in-seat delivery will provide the ultimate fan experience. Venues will benefit from greater spectator/sponsor engagement through features such as timed promotions relevant to on-field performance, membership/loyalty rewards, gamification, tips/donations to sporting charities, live score API’s, and partner giveaways.
