Lead Engineer (Full-Time)

What you’ll do:

• Lead a team of 4–6 engineers across the full stack (React, Node.js, Express, Postgres).

• Drive architecture and implementation decisions for our core platform.

• Partner with product and design to deliver user experiences that are fast, intuitive, and reliable.

• Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, and performance.

• Manage and evolve our AWS infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, S3, and related services).

• Coach and mentor engineers, helping them grow in both technical depth and ownership.

• Collaborate with leadership to align technical priorities with business goals.

What you bring:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a lead or senior role.

• Deep experience building full-stack applications using React and Node.js.

• Strong understanding of AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.) and modern DevOps practices.

• Proven ability to guide teams through complex projects from design to deployment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you thrive in a team environment.

• A builder’s mindset: you care about clean architecture, long-term maintainability, and developer productivity.
