GeyserSteam is revolutionizing the at-home wellness market with premium, plug-and-play steam rooms that require no plumbing, permits, or contractors. Since our founding, we’ve achieved $1.5 M in revenue and validated a clear path to scale to $100 M in annual sales by 2030. Our patented systems deliver the health benefits of steam therapy—respiratory support, muscle recovery, cardiovascular health, stress relief—at a fraction of the cost and installation effort of traditional solutions.

As we enter our next growth phase and raise our pre-seed round, we seek a visionary Co-Founder & CRO to own and accelerate our go-to-market engine.

Role Overview

As Co-Founder & CRO, you will architect and execute the revenue strategy that takes GeyserSteam from early traction to market leadership. You will build and lead all sales, marketing, and distribution channels, hire and mentor high-performing teams, and be accountable for hitting ambitious growth and revenue targets.

You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, excel at both strategy and hands-on execution, and have a track record of scaling D2C and B2B revenue channels in the wellness, home-improvement, or luxury consumer markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Go-to-Market Strategy & Growth Metrics

  • Define and own the overall GTM playbook: positioning, pricing, funnel, and unit economics.
  • Establish KPIs (CAC, LTV, conversion rates, sales cycle length) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Report weekly/monthly on pipeline health, revenue forecasts, and growth performance.

2. Direct-to-Consumer (At-Home) Sales Channel

  • Scale our e-commerce and direct-sales engine to drive consistent MoM revenue growth.
  • Optimize website conversion, upsell/cross-sell flows, and post-purchase engagement.
  • Implement CRM processes, lead scoring, and sales automation.

3. Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing

  • Develop and manage paid media strategy (Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Oversee creative testing, budget allocation, and ROAS optimization (target ≥8× ROAS).
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine ad creative, landing pages, and retargeting campaigns.

4. Home Shows & Live Events

  • Launch and manage presence at home-and-garden shows, wellness expos, trade fairs.
  • Plan logistics, booth design, demos, lead capture, and follow-up processes.
  • Track event ROI and scale to new markets.

5. Influencer & Affiliate Channels

  • Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and affiliates.
  • Structure performance-based partnerships, co-marketing campaigns, and UGC initiatives.
  • Measure impact on brand awareness, engagement, and sales.

6. Sales Leadership & Team Building

  • Recruit, onboard, and coach Sales Managers for both D2C and B2B channels.
  • Build sales playbooks, training materials, and performance incentive plans.
  • Foster a high-performance, metrics-driven sales culture.

7. Distribution & Network Development

  • Establish distribution partnerships with retailers, showrooms, and wellness equipment dealers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and co-op marketing agreements.
  • Leverage partner networks to expand geographic footprint.

8. B2B2C Channel (Design & Build Partners)

  • Develop strategic alliances with architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers.
  • Create co-selling programs, specification sheets, and project pipeline generation processes.
  • Serve as executive sponsor on marquee design/build projects.

9. B2B Channel (Commercial Wellness)

  • Penetrate gyms, spas, hotels, wellness centers, and corporate wellness programs.
  • Design tiered pricing, service agreements, and installation support packages.
  • Drive pipeline through industry associations, trade publications, and targeted outreach.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of revenue leadership experience, with 5+ years scaling start-up or high-growth consumer hardware or wellness businesses.
  • Proven P&L ownership and track record of hitting aggressive revenue targets (ideally in the $1M–$50M range).
  • Deep expertise in both D2C e-commerce and B2B sales motions.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid digital channels with demonstrated ROAS success.
  • Established network of contacts in home shows, wellness influencers, design/build community, or commercial wellness enterprises.
  • Exceptional people leader: recruitment, training, performance management.
  • Data-driven decision maker: proficient with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM dashboards, Tableau/Looker).
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator, comfortable in C-level discussions and investor updates.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, scrappy, thrives in ambiguity.
  • Passion for wellness, home improvement, and delivering best-in-class customer experiences.
