About the Role
As a Special Projects Associate, you will partner closely with the business team to identify, build, and launch revenue growth opportunities and operational priorities. You will take on a broad range of responsibilities including identifying, analyzing, and building out critical initiatives and channels for increasing market share and expanding our product offering.You’ll work closely with the business and go-to-market team to develop and execute on our critical priorities and long-term strategic business goals.
You'll report to the Manager, Special Projects and must be commutable to our NYC office. This role will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with go-to-market teams and potential customers on identifying and substantiating revenue growth opportunities and operational priorities; build and implement appropriate measures to successfully launch and deliver on these new initiatives
- Build quantitative and qualitative business value assessment models for new and existing business and revenue growth opportunities; bootstrap the build out of these new opportunities
- Build out the framework and guidelines for approaching new customer acquisition channels, as well as hands on experimentation to test and iterate in new channels
- Liaise with customers to analyze and expand on growth opportunities
- Wear many hats: partner with senior stakeholders across the business on key operational and strategic priorities
- Generate quantitative analytics and qualitative insights on how to improve the business, while maintaining business effectiveness & efficiency
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of management consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm or similar experience
- First-principles thinker who is excited to apply critical business thinking in a dynamic tech startup environment
- Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact revenue growth and customer acquisition initiatives
- Demonstrated execution skills with the ability to launch, bootstrap, and build out new initiatives
- Experience creating C-level presentations and business plans
- A great communicator who has the ability to influence and build alignment across the organization
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment with competing deadlines, and re-prioritize demands as events change
- Passion for empowering small business owners to be successful; possess a high level of empathy for our customers and a strong desire to deeply understand their need

The starting base salary for this role in NYC is between $90,000-$110,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
