Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Firmware Engineer. The Software Firmware Engineer will be responsible for software development, software design, and embedded software solutions in our strollers. They will also conduct debugging and firmware updates for the stroller's systems. Some remote work is acceptable but this is a location-based role in Vancouver, BC.
Qualifications
- 5 year Experience in embedded software design, development, and multi-environment deployment
- 3+ year Experience with AWS IOT stack, FreeRTOS
- 3+ year Experience with Espressif and STM MCUs
- Proficiency in debugging, firmware over the air updates and maintenance
- Self starter
- Strong C/C++ programming knowledge
- Familiarity with hardware interface languages and device driver creation
- Understanding of communication protocols for devices
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience with robotics and machine learning is a plus
