Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Engineer, based in Lviv. The QA Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing manual tests, managing quality assurance processes, creating and maintaining test cases, and conducting software testing. The professional will work collaboratively with the development team to ensure high-quality product delivery and identify potential improvements in processes.
Qualifications
- Experience with Test Execution and Software Testing methodologies
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance processes and techniques
- Knowledge of Manual Testing and Test Cases creation
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with tools for test management and bug tracking is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Lviv as part of a dynamic tea
Requirement skills:
— 2+ years experience as a QA Engineer;
— Experience with native mobile application testing (iOS / Android);
— Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes;
— Experience in creating and maintenance of test documentation;
— Experience using Xcode, Android Studio;
— Understanding of client-server architecture;
— Experience of work with REST-based applications;
— Good understanding of UX/UI principles and guidelines(Google and Apple);
— Experience with CI systems like (Jenkins, etc).
— Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
— Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desirable skills:
— Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process;
— Experience with Crashlytics, Kibana or similar services;
— Experience with Git (branching, merging, and version control best practices.
Responsibilities:
— Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
— Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases;
— Create, execute and maintain manual test cases;
— Initiate and execute tests without having a detailed test case;
— Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs;
— Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved;
— Actively participate in improving QA processes, procedures, and implementing best practicies.
