Grasshopper Kids partners with schools to deliver best-in-class enrichment programming that supports students and school communities. As we expand into new regions, we are looking for entrepreneurial team members who are excited to help launch and scale new markets.
The role
Grasshopper Kids is hiring a Market Launch & Partnerships Lead to launch and grow new geographic markets. This is a highly entrepreneurial role focused on building Grasshopper Kids’ initial customer base, establishing brand presence, and laying the foundation for long-term growth.
In this role, you will act as both a builder and an operator — owning early sales efforts, helping define go-to-market strategy for the region, and ensuring that our school partners’ needs are met and expectations exceeded in their first year working with Grasshopper. You will stand-up a new market in as little as six months — laying the foundation for what success looks like, defining repeatable approaches, and helping shape how Grasshopper Kids grows new markets, teams, and our community of active school partners.
What you'll do
- Launch Grasshopper Kids in a new geographic market by identifying and securing early school partners
- Build the initial pipeline from scratch through outbound outreach, referrals, and local relationship-building
- Own and grow the full sales cycle from first contact through contract execution
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Act as the primary point of contact for early customers during market launch
- Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure successful first program launches in the market
- Gather market feedback to inform pricing, positioning, and operational strategy
- Help develop, test, and refine market launch processes and sales playbook
- Continue expanding the market by growing new partnerships after initial launch
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and insights using CRM tools
Who you are
- 3–7+ years of experience in B2B sales, territory expansion, education sales, or marketplace/service-based growth roles
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building something from 0-1. You can operate independently, roll up your sleeves, and get things done
- Excited by ambiguity and early-stage market building; comfortable defining success before it’s fully mapped
- Strong relationship builder with experience selling to schools, districts, or public-sector-adjacent organizations
- Comfortable working in a hybrid role that includes frequent local travel (must reside in market)
- Highly organized and disciplined with pipeline and account management
- Familiar with CRM tools (HubSpot highly preferred) and consultative sales methodologies

Compensation
- OTE: $130,000-$150,000 (Year 1) | $150,000-$200,000+ (Year 2+ top performers)
- Equity: 0.15-0.20%
