Our app empowers livestock producers to optimize nutrition, breeding, and animal health while reducing methane emissions. As we build a platform tailored to producers in the MENA region, we are seeking an energetic and strategic Cofounder/COO to help lead our operational efforts.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and outgoing Cofounder/COO who is fluent in Arabic and has a solid background in veterinary science or animal science. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with livestock, be well-connected in the agricultural community, and play a key role in developing the operational processes for onboarding livestock producers. You will also collaborate with the CTO in building app modules and lead outreach initiatives to grow our network of producers, cooperatives, livestock traders, regulators, and NGOs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Onboarding Processes for Livestock Producers:

• Design and implement seamless, scalable processes for onboarding livestock producers to the Greener Herd platform.
• Ensure the onboarding experience is efficient and user-friendly, allowing farmers to easily integrate with the app.

Support Module Development:

• Collaborate with the CTO to support the development of app modules related to livestock nutrition, breeding, and animal health.
• Leverage your veterinary/animal science expertise to ensure these modules meet the practical needs of farmers and livestock managers.

Lead Workshops and Training Programs:

• Organize and lead workshops and training sessions for livestock producers, cooperatives, and key stakeholders.
• Educate users on best practices for using the app and optimizing livestock management.

Develop and Maintain Key Relationships:

• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including livestock producers, cooperatives, NGOs, and regulators.
• Act as the face of Greener Herd in the agricultural sector, developing a strong network across the MENA region.
• Work closely with key clients to ensure their needs are met and provide tailored solutions that increase their productivity and sustainability.

Grow the Network of Stakeholders:

• Help expand Greener Herd’s presence by building partnerships with cooperatives, livestock traders, and agricultural institutions.
• Work with NGOs and regulators to incorporate Greener Herd into sustainable agriculture and livestock management programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience working with livestock, especially in the MENA region.
• Strong understanding of livestock management, nutrition, breeding, and health.
• Comfortable in leadership roles, organizing workshops, and engaging key stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to network and build relationships.

Preferred:

• Experience working with AgTech solutions or digital platforms in the agricultural sector.
• Proven track record in business development or operations, particularly in scaling processes and managing accounts.
• Familiarity with the regulatory and cooperative landscape in the MENA livestock industry.
• Passionate about sustainability and improving rural livelihoods through technology.
