We are an app-based, peer-to-peer, laundry service offering flat-rate pricing and next-day turnaround.We are looking to hire our first senior level engineering position. This role will have the opportunity to grow into the Director of Engineering role within the next 12 - 18 months. SummaryNinja level full stack developer with API development experience in an AWS serverless stack. This person has expert level experience working with Node.js (C#/.Net Core would be a big plus) as well as the Next.js and Express.js frameworks. Responsibilities

• Passion for building is a must!
• Subject matter expert on all aspects of the hampr platform.
• Own all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain the highest standards of security at all times..
• Develop best practices and manage all aspects of DevOps at hampr.
• Utilize Agile best practices including CI/CD and test driven development.
• Work closely with the executive team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Serves as a mentor to other technical staff to enhance their productivity and contributions to the team.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Expert level Node.js developer.
• Experience building scalable event driven microservices.
• Experience with the following AWS services:
• Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and beanstalk.
• Working knowledge of document oriented databases - such as DynamoDB.
• Experience with Agile development processes.
• Proficient with Git repos, Bitbucket pipelines, and AWS Cloud Formation.

• Google Maps and/or Mapbox APIs
