HealthHive is a self-funded, founder-led health technology company with an operational platform, paying clients across the Skilled Nursing market, real data integrations, and SNF-specific workflows built and financed with $5M+ in founder capital. We have chosen to self-fund deliberately. It gives us the freedom to build the solution we believe this market actually needs, without the pressure to optimize for metrics that don't reflect the complexity of longitudinal care. Our founder and CEO serves on the Executive Committee of the American Society on Aging Board, is a member of the AARP AgeTech Collaborative, and participated in the Techstars Future of Longevity program — a specialized cohort sponsored by Pivotal Ventures, a Melinda French Gates company — for knowledge-building and network purposes, not capital. The $20K shown in our Crunchbase funding record reflects standard Techstars program participation, not the actual capital invested in building this company. The founding team also brings a prior successful health technology exit, having built and sold UltraLinq Healthcare Solutions, a global clinical imaging SaaS platform, in 2017. Healthcare doesn't fail because people don't care. It fails because the information needed to act rarely reaches the right hands at the right moment. As more care shifts into homes, families, and community settings, the system loses visibility into the earliest signs of risk — the functional changes, medication adjustments, behavioral shifts, and social stressors that determine whether someone stabilizes or spirals. These gaps drive avoidable utilization, poor transitions, and enormous operational burden for providers and payers, while leaving families to navigate care with no structure and no support. HealthHive is building the continuity layer that healthcare has always needed but never had. Our platform integrates with existing clinical and non-clinical systems to make daily life visible, interpretable, and actionable. By connecting Skilled Nursing, home health, community partners, health systems, and families around a shared understanding of what is happening between visits, we enable organizations to detect risk earlier, coordinate more predictably, and intervene before problems become crises. Families shift from being unmanaged variables to structured contributors, and care teams gain the clarity they need to deliver safer, more consistent support. We go beyond data aggregation. HealthHive operationalizes the real-world signals that shape outcomes — ensuring that everyone participating in an older adult's well-being can see what's changing, understand what it means, and act with confidence. Our goal is to evolve how care for older adults is managed, moving the system from reactive and fragmented to proactive, connected, and continuous.
