Our Mission

We’re building infrastructure for modern healthcare delivery.

Traditional healthcare is plagued with outdated, monolithic EHRs designed to maximize billing outcomes. Patient outcomes and provider experiences have been afterthoughts, as these systems have bolted on non-API-first solutions. None of this is built for how clinically excellent healthcare is actually delivered—longitudinally and collaboratively, with the patient at the center.

Healthie is the world’s leading API-first, ONC-Certified EHR for healthcare delivery outside of the hospital. We provide the powerful infrastructure every scaling organization needs—EHR, scheduling, patient engagement, billing, and more—all accessible via modern APIs and a white-labeled UI. Our platform makes it simple for organizations of any size to launch, customize, and scale their care delivery models without reinventing the wheel.

Today, over 1 billion API calls are made to Healthie every month, as thousands of organizations—working with more than 13 million patients in total—rely on Healthie to deliver care across a spectrum of specialties, from preventative health and wellness to complex chronic care management.

We believe in the power of technology to improve access to healthcare—and we’re building the rails that make this a reality. We work fast and with quality because we provide business-critical, healthcare-critical software that clinicians and patients need for a better healthcare system. We’re customer-obsessed, operate with lightning-fast processes and responses, make our product roadmap public so customers can see what we’re building, and remain relentlessly focused on how care gets delivered.

Healthie is backed by leading investors, and while we've raised $42M to date, more importantly, we operate with fiscal responsibility and have been profitable for more than half of our time as a company.

About the Role

The Financial Automations Analyst will own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of finance automation workflows and analyses. The primary focus is to streamline finance operations on collections, order to cash, deal desk, treasury and procurement processes.

This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, requiring someone who is equally comfortable building AI agents as they are doing financial analyses. You report to the Senior Finance Manager but work with the entire finance team on a multitude of projects as we continue to scale.

You will be responsible for the following:

Order-to-Cash Automation

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of order-to-cash automation, reducing manual collections workload and accelerating cash collection cycles.

  • Build and maintain automated workflows for invoice delivery, payment reminders, cash application, and collections escalation routing.

  • Partner with the Finance Associate & Controller to identify high-volume, repeatable tasks suitable for automation vs. high-judgment escalations that require human handling.

  • Own reconciliation processes between billing systems (Stripe, Revenue Cloud) and the general ledger.

  • Understand each step of workflows from quoting, signed contract/sales orders, timeline to implementation, billing, recognizing revenue and collections.

AI Agent Building & Workflow Automation

  • Build, deploy, and manage Finance AI agents using tools like Campfire, Zapier, Claude, and MCP-connected platforms.

  • Identify automation opportunities across the Finance function: treasury, payables reporting and vendor management.

  • Maintain and document all active agents, workflows, and integrations.

  • Continuously monitor agent performance and drive improvements to accuracy, coverage, and reliability.

Treasury & Operational Finance

  • Automate treasury processes including cash position reporting, bank transaction ingestion, and reconciliation.

  • Support month-end close by ensuring automated data pipelines are accurate and exception reports are actionable.

  • Assist with accounts payable automation and vendor payment workflows as needed.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with different departments: Revenue Operations, Data Engineering, and Customer Success and others to ensure data flows are accurate end-to-end.

  • Partner with the Senior Finance Manager on data infrastructure projects, including Snowflake/Metabase reporting data pipelines.

  • Serve as the Finance team's internal resource on automation tooling, staying current on emerging AI and workflow technologies.

About You

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Experience: 2-5 years in finance, accounting operations, or revenue operations; SaaS experience required; healthcare industry experience a plus

  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with automation platforms (Zapier, Make, or similar) Comfortable using APIs, webhooks, and system integrations. Familiarity with Stripe, Campfire, or comparable billing/ERP systems; SQL or data tool experience a strong plus

  • AI-Native Mindset: Demonstrated experience using generative AI or LLM-based tools to automate workflows, build self-service analytical tools, or deploy AI agents in a production context (this is a core differentiator, not a nice-to-have)

  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of order-to-cash processes, AR lifecycle, and SaaS billing models

  • Soft Skills: Self-directed, curious, process-obsessed, strong written communicator, and genuinely excited about building systems rather than just using them. You are someone who sees a manual process and immediately starts thinking about how to eliminate it
