Job description

The Finance manager will play a critical role in developing the financial strategy of Heex Technologies. They will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis. The Finance manager will ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization, supporting the CEO and the executive team in strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Support top management in the implementation of the financial strategies, company's growth and profitability goals.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and financial planning.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.

2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, and annual statements.

  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

3. Compliance

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting:

  • Develop risk management policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks.

  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax.

  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.

5. Strategic Initiatives and Projects:

  • Evaluate and implement financial systems and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with other departments to drive cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related field

  • Previous positive experience in a start-up environment

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive financial leadership experience

  • Comfortable with financial regulations, accounting principles

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Leadership and team-building abilities is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with financial software and tools (Pennylane) and advanced Excel skills.
