Your mission

As Key Account Manager, you will be in charge of all customer relations in the DACH region and own the customer success process for our entire customer base. You will be in charge of maintaining long-term relationships with our clients and will be in active communication with growers regarding regular account check-ups, product improvements and new feature releases. You should get excited by speaking to growers and wanting to make their lives easier whilst helping hexafarms reach as many growers as possible. You will be the glue between our customers and the Product and Sales team.

Your profile

Application Requirements

  • You should have a true passion for helping our clients succeed with a proven experience in account management or customer success roles.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively translate customer needs to product teams. Please note that a native level fluency in German is a must.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining constant communication with Product and Sales teams
  • Willingness to visit growers on location in the DACH region for hands-on support and deeper customer insights.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own the customer success process for the DACH region, ensuring customers derive maximum value from our product post-sales
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients and regularly communicate with growers regarding account check-ups, product improvements, and new feature releases
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for the product team, influencing product development
  • Spot issues early on to prevent churn and support growers in using our product effectively
  • Lead and expand customer success efforts, including geographical and team expansion

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our product
  • Track record of translating customer needs into actionable product enhancements and influencing product development
  • Experience in setting up scalable customer success processes and infrastructure, with strategic thinking skills
  • Willingness to explore new domains such as marketing, CRM/sales funnel management, and sales material development
  • Preferred qualifications: experience in the agriculture industry or a strong interest in agtech, a background in sales or marketing with the ability to identify upsell opportunities, and previous experience in startups or a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Notion, and Linear for managing processes and tasks

Concrete Task Examples

Your day to day job might call you for tasks like-

  • Post sales user software onboarding. If you are up for it and if needed, on company covered expenses, you can also visit the grower in person.
  • Regular bi-weekly check in if users are getting the tool benefits.
    • During this, you will also activate a feature for an organization and get objective user feedback- aka user interviews.
  • Making a better process for the above- we use a suite of tools to put structure around things- Airtable, Notion, and Linear.
