Role Overview:
As a Fullstack Engineer at Hormona, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our mobile and backend systems. You’ll work across the entire stack, from building robust APIs to implementing beautiful, user-friendly interfaces. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to drive innovation and deliver a best-in-class health-tech solution. Our tech stack includes NestJS (TypeScript), React Native (Expo), GCP, and PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fullstack Development: Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components using React Native (Expo), NestJS (TypeScript), and PostgreSQL.
- API Development & Optimization: Build and maintain secure, scalable APIs that support real-time analytics, personalization, and seamless user experiences.
- Data-Driven Insights: Work with data engineers to leverage analytics, ensuring product improvements are driven by user behavior and insights.
- Performance & Scalability: Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and security, ensuring a smooth experience for users.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with product, design, and marketing teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to best practices in security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Innovate & Improve: Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to ongoing improvements in the tech stack and development processes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer, working with NestJS (TypeScript), React Native (Expo), GCP, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong expertise in backend development, API design, and database management.
- Experience with mobile app development, preferably with React Native.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and best coding practices.
- Experience working in an agile development environment with CI/CD pipelines.
- Passion for building user-centric, high-performance applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership of technical challenges.
- A data-driven mindset, leveraging insights to inform technical decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in health-tech, SaaS, or subscription-based platforms.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and user conversion optimization.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
- Experience with machine learning or AI-driven personalization.
