About us: illumicell AI is an American/Swiss medtech startup on a mission to democratize access to male fertility care, by creating technologies that make semen testing more accessible.

It is led by a team comprising a Harvard-trained medical doctor, a former McKinsey consultant, and a former rocket scientist. Backed by Techstars, Harvard Innovation Labs, and Creative Destruction Labs.

Role Description:

This paid internship is a hybrid role; in May it will be an in-person internship in Tokyo while our team is there; then it will be a remote while our team is in the United States.

Duration:

• This role will last one month. Based on your performance we may offer you a 3 month summer internship.

Compensation:

• You will receive an hourly wage
• All of your expenses (travel and similar) will be covered

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Take pictures and videos during our stay in Tokyo
• Manage our social media (linkedin) posts
• Assist the leadership team with various adhoc tasks that might come up during our stay in Tokyo (i.e. logistics, communication with locals, etc).

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Japanese with the ability to use Keigo (required for professional communications)
• You are a good communicator and have conversation English
• You are professional in behavior and appearance
