The facilities maintenance technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. The position will assist or lead the maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), equipment maintenance, painting, plumbing, cleaning and other tasks as assigned.
- Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
- Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
- Clean windows and doors
- Change of all filters for HVAC as required
- Prepare manufacturing rooms and equipment for upcoming production
- Remove or rearrange equipment or furniture for events or production, as needed
- Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials
- Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed
- On call maintenance for all facilities, 24/7 (with notice)
- Maintain exterior property, including snow removal when applicable
- Oversee daily trash removal, restocking/cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, cleaning/disinfecting tables and counters, cleaning exterior entryway, cleaning/polishing/floor maintenance, cleaning/disinfecting community surfaces (hand rails, water fountains, vending machines, etc.)
- Performs other work related duties as assigned
- Flexible hours available/possibly required
- High school education or equivalent
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions and to work with minimal supervision
- Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask
- 5-10 years of working experience in facilities maintenance
- Technical background
- Ability to excel in a team atmosphere of creativity, risk taking and delivering results
- Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in excess of 8 hours per day and 5 days per week. Willing to work all required shifts hours, overtime and weekends, if required.

- Working around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints
