About the role

As an Application Security Engineer, ​you will work alongside the security and development teams to identify, prioritize, and address security vulnerabilities in our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that security best practices are integrated throughout the development lifecycle while using your full-stack engineering expertise to build secure, scalable solutions across multiple platforms.

What you'll do

• Conduct security reviews of application architecture, code, and design.
• Identify, report, and remediate vulnerabilities in web, mobile, and cloud applications.
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Collaborate with developers to implement secure coding practices.
• Develop and maintain security standards, guidelines, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST, and secure coding practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
• Familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, Browser inspector
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
