About the role
This role will support daily financial operations including billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and subscription management. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate invoicing, supporting month-end close activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows and system efficiency.
What you'll do
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of financial systems, ensuring billing data is accurately entered and maintained.
- Manage and validate daily financial transactions, including billing and accounts receivable.
- Support accurate and timely subscription invoicing and customer billing processes, addressing billing inquiries, and supporting the full subscription lifecycle.
- Reconcile accounts and assist in month-end closing activities.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing-related issues.
- Assist in reviewing and improving financial processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate with product, CS, and tech teams to improve billing and reporting systems.
- Document workflows, maintain system guides, and support internal training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or financial operations.
- Proficiency with financial systems; experience with NetSuite/SuiteBilling is a plus.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a strong team spirit.
- The ability to work autonomously is crucial — the candidate must be self-motivated and capable of taking initiative without close supervision.
- Flexibility in work hours to accommodate cross-time-zone collaboration and urgent billing tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
