We’re building an AI Agentic platform to automate complex enterprise workflows by combining large language models, fine tuned small models, business logic, and deep system integrations.
As an AI researcher, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation solving some of the hardest technical and enterprise challenges in AI:
- Processing vast amounts of messy, unstructured data
- Ensuring consistency and predictability of AI responses
- Enabling governance and explainability of agent decisions
- Guaranteeing enterprise-grade data security and privacy
- Seamless integration with enterprise systems and workflows
These are deep AI engineering problems — and we’re looking for people who want to build real IP, not just wrappers.
Responsibilities:
Data and Machine Learning:
- Model Development: Design and develop novel machine learning models and algorithms, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP models, and computer vision models, and other advanced techniques, to address specific business problems.
- Model Evaluation: Rigorously evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and statistical methods, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and generalizability.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets, including text and image/video data, to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for model improvement.
- Algorithm Optimization: Optimize existing algorithms and models for performance, efficiency, and scalability, including optimization of NLP and computer vision models for specific hardware and deployment scenarios.
- Problem Solving: Apply machine learning, NLP, and computer vision techniques to solve real-world business problems and contribute to the development of innovative products and services.
Agentic AI:
- Research & Exploration: Conduct research to explore and evaluate new AI techniques and methodologies, particularly in the realm of agentic AI, including large language models, autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, and agents that leverage multimodal data (text, images, video).
- Quality Measurement: Develop and implement methods for measuring the quality of agent output, including accuracy, relevance, coherence, and the ability to correctly interpret and utilize multimodal information.
- Guardrail Development: Research and implement guardrails and safety mechanisms for AI agents to ensure responsible and ethical behavior, especially when processing sensitive information from text or images.
- Evaluation of Agent Performance: Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance and capabilities of AI agents in various tasks and environments, including tasks that require multimodal understanding and reasoning.
- Contribution to State-of-the-Art: Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in AI, NLP, and computer vision, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art techniques and methodologies.
General Responsibilities:
- Communication & Presentation: Clearly and succinctly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in written reports, including explaining the nuances of NLP and computer vision models.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, or a related field would be preferred
- Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence principles, NLP, and computer vision.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and evaluating machine learning models and algorithms, including NLP and computer vision models.
- Experience with agentic AI, large language models, and related technologies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and NLP/computer vision libraries like Hugging Face Transformers, OpenCV, or PyTorch Vision.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
