How we work

Role Responsibilities

  • Own top and mid-funnel: research target accounts, build lists, craft sequences, and send cold emails/LinkedIn outreach; qualify inbound leads.
  • Book meetings & manage next steps: schedule discovery calls and demos, take notes, log outcomes, and keep opportunities moving.
  • Proposal & contract support: draft quotes/proposals, coordinate approvals, track redlines, and ensure timely signature.
  • Handoff to CS: create clean, complete handoffs (context, use cases, stakeholders) to Customer Success for smooth onboarding.
  • CRM excellence: keep HubSpot/Salesforce pristine—stages, activities, contacts, and forecasting hygiene.
  • Event execution: attend conferences, staff the booth, set pre-booked meetings, and follow up quickly post-event.
  • Feedback loop: capture prospect pain points and market intel; share “voice of customer” back to product and leadership.
  • Process & playbooks: help refine outreach templates, sequences, qualification rubrics, and demo/prop doc checklists.

About You

You’ll run the front line of our commercial sales motion: identify prospects, craft and send cold outreach, book and run intro calls, coordinate demos, manage follow-ups, prepare proposals, shepherd contracts through signature, and hand off new customers to Customer Success for onboarding. You’ll also represent Kayhan at industry events, working the booth, booking meetings, and turning conversations into a qualified pipeline.

What will make you successful

  • 1–3 years in a revenue role (SDR/BDR, sales coordinator, junior AE, or similar), ideally in B2B software/SaaS or aerospace.
  • Strong written outreach skills (clear, concise, personalized) and comfort with cold email/cold calling.
  • Organized and detail-oriented: you live by your task list and keep the CRM up to date and accurate.
  • Confident on Zoom and in person: you can run intros, ask crisp discovery questions, and set next steps.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or Salesforce, calendaring tools, and basic CPQ/proposal workflows.
  • Ability to travel ~25–35% for conferences, customer meetings, and booth duty.
  • Nice to have: interest in the space industry, basic understanding of SaaS, cloud, or mission operations concepts.

Compensation

  • Total compensation for this role includes base salary, bonus/commission, and company equity.
  • Colorado base salary range: $60,000 - $120,000
