💼 About the Internship

We’re looking for an Accounting & Tax Intern who’s eager to learn the ropes of day-to-day finance operations. You’ll support our Finance Team with key accounting processes and get hands-on experience with Portuguese accounting standards and fiscal responsibilities. From document organization to tax map creation, you’ll be guided every step of the way by our experienced in-house accountant.

🧾 What You'll Learn & Do

By the end of your internship, you’ll have practical experience in:

• Supporting the accounting process and learning how to classify and enter invoices;
• Assisting with account reconciliations and financial archiving;
• Preparing supporting documents for tax declarations (VAT, Corporate Tax, etc.);
• Organizing and managing accounting documentation using internal tools;
• Collaborating closely with the accounting mentor and internal departments; and
• Understanding the structure, workflow, and compliance needs of a Finance Department.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

• Degree (or final-year student) in Accounting, Finance, or similar;
• Basic knowledge of SNC, VAT, and Corporate Income Tax is a big plus;
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn;
• Proactive attitude, teamwork mindset, and good communication skills;
• Familiarity with Excel and interest in digital accounting tools is a bonus; and
• Portuguese fluency required.
