We are on the hunt for a talented Electrical Architect with a passion for emerging space technology and a desire to join Kepler’s electrical engineering team.
System Architecture & Design:
Own end-to-end electrical architecture for satellite power and communication systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, reliability, and performance
Establish system-level electrical requirements, including interface management, clocking architectures, power and electrical budgets and flow-down of mission objectives
Collaborate with architects from other disciplines to inform, align, and guide the spacecraft design
Act as a subject matter expert, establish requirements for and lead the evaluation of COTS and other system and subsystem level components, specifically focusing on the electrical discipline
Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
Ensure the quality of system, subsystem, and unit-level designs within electrical systems, while providing technical guidance to electrical designers and engineers
Lead and/or support project team sizing and resource planning efforts across internal and external programs, ensuring alignment and managing cost targets and development schedules
Represent Electrical Engineering at Kepler during internal and external design reviews (e.g. PDR,CDR, etc.)
Assist in the establishment and modification of internal electrical design processes and procedures
Documentation & Process Improvement:
Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, design rationale, and implementation guidelines
Stay informed on emerging trends, industry standards, and best practices in space electrical architecture
