YOUR TASKS
- Develop and implement end-to-end paid marketing app-focused campaigns, across digital channels (digital search, video, display, and paid social media) and across several markets.
- Manage KPI and data-driven optimization campaigns to achieve performance objectives in alignment with the overall marketing strategy and business goals.
- Plan, implement, and monitor advertising budgets, targeting, and bidding strategies, and conduct A/B testing to optimize campaigns for performance and ROI.
- Drive organic acquisition on the App Store and Google Play, leveraging different strategies to defend/optimize ranks in stores, rank for more keywords and improve conversion in the stores.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data insights, and provide regular reporting to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities to drive continuous growth.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to drive projects and to ensure global standards (including tracking, reporting, ad creatives, landing pages, custom product pages, etc.).
- Implement and optimize marketing campaigns using CRM (tool "Iterable") to focus on advanced segmentation and targeting strategies.
- Personalize and customize campaign content dynamically based on user behavior and attributes.
- Manage and enhance custom attributes to fine-tune customer engagement strategies and achieve targeted outcomes.
- Copywriting for marketing or sales communications in German and English.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ON BOARD
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience with user acquisition (ASO or Performance Marketing)
- Meta ads, Google ads, Tiktok, ASA and other SRNs.
- Having managed substantial budgets, experience with creative testing, custom audiences, etc.
- Recent hands-on experience with ASO
- Experience with A/B testing
- Proficiency in using Iterable (or a comparable tool) for planning and launching campaigns.
- Ability to drive data insights with analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Looker, and/or Appsflyer - as well as strong analytical thinking skills, and affinity for numbers.
- A data-driven approach with a solid understanding of startup growth metrics, analytics, and statistics - focusing on performance and results, striving for measurable impact.
- Understanding of user psychology and motivation in mobile app usage.
- Communication and assertiveness as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality with the ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate campaign strategies and results.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and optimization.
- Past experience collaborating with other stakeholders (e.g. Designers, Product Managers, etc.)
