Kumulus aims to solve the problem of drinking water scarcity in Africa and the Middle East.
We will design and commercialize products that transform humidity in the air into drinkable water. The idea is to tackle markets where there is no reliable source of renewable drinkable water, or where water scarcity is such that it became a burden for the local community.
The air will enter the machine, will go through different filters, then the humidity will be extracted and transformed to liquid water. This water will then go through specific filters and mineralizers to become drinking.
The system can be powered by solar panels and batteries and will use IoT technology to communicate with Kumulus Central.
Different sizes will be proposed but the team is starting with a machine producing 20 to 30L of water per day.
Kumulus machines will be sold or provided on a subscription basis (water as a service) with payments made for each liter of water produced
