Junior Business Development
Sales & Business Development
Metropolitan City of Naples, Italy
What if your work could change the way we see our planet?
From 600 km above, a satellite sees an entire city. You'll see much more: you'll see the opportunities.
At Latitudo40, we turn satellite imagery into intelligence. We combine Earth Observation, Artificial Intelligence and Climate Tech to give cities, institutions and companies the tools to build a more liveable world — today and tomorrow.
But technology alone isn't enough. It takes people who know how to tell its story, bring it into the world, and connect it with those who can use it to make a difference. It takes you.
Why this role is different
We're not looking for someone to "sell a product." We're looking for someone who has already turned complex technology into signed contracts, and who is eager to do it again with tools that can change the way we see the world, in Italy and beyond.
Scaling our business internationally takes two ingredients that rarely go together:
- A proven sales methodology in SaaS and product sales. This is where we want to get to know you: tell us in your CV about the pipelines you have built and owned, from the first customer conversation all the way to a signed contract or partnership. Show us the deals you carried, the cycles you moved through the funnel, and the "no"s you turned into "yes"es.
- An unstoppable curiosity for new, constantly evolving technologies, the kind that feels like science fiction right up until the moment it becomes the solution to a real-world problem.
If your eyes light up when you hear about space, AI and sustainability — keep reading.
What you'll do
Four missions, one obsession: the number you commit to at the start of each quarter and close by the end of it.
- Explore markets still waiting to be written. You'll map the B2B and Public Administration landscape to uncover opportunities where others aren't looking, and qualify them fast, so your pipeline is built on deals that can actually close (Scouting & Lead Generation).
- Open doors, and keep them open. You'll manage first contacts via email, LinkedIn and events, turning a stranger into an interested counterpart, then moving them through every stage of the funnel with the discipline that keeps forecast and reality in line (Outreach & Funnel Management).
- Build stories that convince, and win the deal. You'll craft pitches, presentations and offers that translate technological complexity into concrete value, and drive them all the way to signature (Sales Support & Closing).
- Read the future. You'll analyze competitors and trends across Smart Cities, ESG and the Space Economy to anticipate where the market is heading, and get there first (Market Intelligence).
- Own the number. You'll live by your pipeline KPIs and quarterly targets, forecast honestly, and treat the end-of-quarter close as the finish line that matters most. Here, results are not a vanity metric. They are the job (PIPELINE & PERFORMANCES).
And you won't do it alone. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with our Chief of Growth and directly with the CEO, in a continuous back-and-forth on strategy, targets and the deals that matter. When a conversation with a potential customer gets technical, our product managers and engineering team step in with you, so you can walk into any room backed by the people who actually build the technology. You bring the pipeline and the drive to close. We make sure you're never the smartest or the most prepared person in the deal on your own.
Who we're looking for
You've already spent at least 3 years selling in technology-driven environments, geospatial, deep tech or B2B SaaS, which means you know these markets from the inside: long sales cycles, demanding technical stakeholders, and complex products that have to be explained simply. You're not starting from scratch, and for us that is non-negotiable.
- Your track record: you have carried a quota or a revenue target and closed deals against it. In your CV, show us the numbers you owned and how you performed against them.
- Your discipline: you have built and run your own pipeline in a CRM, managing opportunities from first contact to signature. This is how you work, not a tool you occasionally touch.
- Your foundation: a degree in Economics, Management, Management Engineering, Political Science or related fields.
- Your mind: you live by your KPIs. You can read conversion rates, cycle length and gap-to-target at any moment, zero in on the accounts worth chasing, and report results without dressing them up.
- Your voice in the world: Italian (C2) and excellent English (B2/C1), because you'll be speaking with a market that knows no borders. A second language? We applaud it.
And then there are the qualities you can't learn from a textbook: the initiative of someone who doesn't wait for instructions, the empathy of someone who listens before speaking, the resilience of someone who sees every "no" as a step toward "yes," and the team spirit to work shoulder to shoulder with the people who build the technology you'll be selling.
People, first and foremost
At Latitudo40 we have a people-centric vision: we believe our real engine of growth isn't the satellites, nor the algorithms, but the people who put them to work for the world.
That's why we're not simply trying to fill a box on an org chart. We're looking for someone to grow, listen to and nurture — because when the team thrives, the whole company thrives. Here you'll have a voice, room to make mistakes and learn, and colleagues who believe in your potential as much as you do.
Where will you work? Wherever you want
You can work from one of our offices — Naples, Turin, Rome or Lisbon — or from wherever you feel most comfortable and do your best work. What matters to us is the value you bring, not the spot on the map you bring it from.
And distance doesn't scare us: every quarter the entire team comes together for a week side by side, to share the journey we've made as a company, align on our goals and — above all — remind ourselves that behind every screen there's a person. Because the best ideas often come over a cup of coffee.
What we offer
- A place in a team that's young, international, and not afraid to dream big.
- A structured growth path at the heart of the Space Economy — one of the most promising sectors of the decade.
- The freedom to work from wherever you want, in an inclusive environment where results matter more than the clock.
Let's be clear about one thing
The selection process won't be easy. And that's fine: we're looking for the right person, not the first available one.
Your CV tells us what you've done, the deals, the numbers, the pipelines you've owned, and we read it closely. But it can't tell us why you, and why now. That's why we ask for something more: along with your CV, send us a short introduction explaining why you're truly the right person for this team and this moment.
This letter is not optional. A CV that arrives without it won't be reviewed. We're not asking for perfection or length, we're asking for a few minutes of real thought, because a role like this deserves a candidate who chose it, not one who clicked a button. If you're not willing to give it that, this probably isn't the place for you. If you are, we'll read every word.
The planet won't wait. Will you?
If you've made it this far and something clicked, that's the right sign.
Send us your CV and your introduction, and tell us why you want to give your potential the space — quite literally — to take off. 🚀
