Lauretta.io is an alumni of the Techstars Accelerator sponsored by AFWERX in 2020 that deploys AI for the generation of digital twins of humans, objects, and interactions, for the establishment of a social graph of interaction in physical space. Leveraging sensors, CCTV cameras, and multispectral imaging, our Delos Detect and Track system creates smart installations by providing unified context to a physical space, allowing us to reveal to persons behind the incidents caught on camera. Known for our best-in-class AI capabilities, Lauretta provides video analytics for Singapore’s defense and homeland security apparatus, airports, prisons, and air bases. In the US, the algorithm has been adapted through the DHS for screening and soft target protection. Through a collaboration with MIT’s Draper Labs, the system is being evaluated for embedding in the Air Force security groups and for mission-driven coordination of groups of autonomous UAVs. Committed to ethical AI practices, they proudly stand among the initial 125 organizations supporting the AI Ethics & Governance movement. With a strong focus on privacy and human-centric AI principles, they refrain from utilizing biometric technologies like facial recognition, prioritizing anonymous systems that concentrate on understanding activities within a space rather than individuals.
