Director- Marketing (Pharma Events)
Leucine
Overview
Leucine is looking for a strategic, creative, and execution-driven Director of Marketing (Events) to lead our year-round offline events and experiential marketing strategy.
This role goes beyond event management — it’s about marketing the event itself and ensuring every touchpoint drives brand visibility, engagement, and business growth.
From high-impact conferences, roundtables, and panel discussions to customer go-lives, project kickoffs, internal celebrations, and city-wide campaigns, you’ll be the force that brings Leucine’s story to life on the ground.
If you’re a marketer who thrives on creativity, precision, and seeing ideas come alive through powerful brand experiences — this is your stage.
Key Responsibilities
🎯 Event Strategy & Planning
- Develop and own an annual 360° events calendar aligned with Leucine’s GTM and brand goals.
- Plan and execute a diverse mix of events — internal company events, Leucine-branded conferences, podcasts, roundtables, panel discussions, customer celebrations, and third-party pharma industry events.
- Identify and evaluate relevant pharma, life sciences, and tech events across India and globally.
- Define event positioning, key messaging, and marketing campaigns for each event.
- Lead budgeting, vendor negotiations, and contracts for all event formats.
🚀 Event Marketing & Promotion
- Build pre-event marketing campaigns including digital, social, PR, and offline touchpoints to drive attendance and engagement.
- Collaborate with design, content, and sales teams to develop promotional assets — teasers, invites, speaker announcements, booth designs, videos, and more.
- Ensure strong brand storytelling before, during, and after the event through coordinated marketing initiatives.
🧩 Execution & Onsite Leadership
- Manage end-to-end logistics — venue, travel, AV, catering, and on-site coordination.
- Lead Leucine’s participation in third-party events — sponsorships, booths, speaking slots, and networking activities.
- Curate engaging agendas, identify and onboard speakers, and deliver an immersive brand experience across all touchpoints.
- Act as the onsite captain ensuring seamless setup, registration, live troubleshooting, and brand consistency.
💬 Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and leadership to align event goals and KPIs.
- Build relationships with industry associations, event organizers, and strategic partners.
- Coordinate with customers for joint events, go-live ceremonies, and project kickoffs.
📈 Post-Event Impact & Insights
- Analyze ROI and lead metrics — from brand engagement to pipeline contribution.
- Run feedback loops and surveys to measure success and improve the playbook.
- Create post-event content (recaps, videos, testimonials) to extend visibility and storytelling.
🏙️ Brand Visibility & City Activation
- Plan and execute outdoor and offline campaigns — hoardings, local partnerships, and event branding across major pharma hubs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Marketing or Releated Experience.
- 4+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or brand management (pharma, life sciences, or B2B tech preferred).
- Proven experience in executing large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and multi-format events.
- Strong skills in marketing strategy, campaign planning, vendor management, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India.
Key Attributes
- Thinks like a marketer first, manager second.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative.
- Strong ownership mindset — plans, promotes, and executes end-to-end.
- Passionate about crafting memorable brand experiences and amplifying Leucine’s presence in the global pharma ecosystem.
