Role Purpose

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for delivering top-notch IT support? LevelTen Energy is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring seamless operations across our IT landscape, enhancing employee experiences, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Efficient Ticket Management: Spearhead the triage of incoming IT tickets, swiftly troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure minimal disruption to our team's workflow.
  • Proactive Solutions: Collaborate with the IT team to devise innovative solutions that not only address immediate concerns but also help in reducing the monthly ticket volume.
  • Empathetic Support: Understand the challenges faced by our employees and proactively work towards mitigating these challenges to create a more conducive work environment.
  • Rapid Response: Maintain a high level of responsiveness to meet ticketing SLAs and ensure rapid issue resolution.
  • Application Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on employee-facing applications, crafting informative training videos and articles to empower our workforce.
  • Seamless Onboarding/Offboarding: Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences by following established processes for account setup, device configuration, and access management.
  • Risk Mitigation: Contribute to office risk reduction through effective AV equipment and device management, troubleshooting, and escalation of networking issues.
  • Asset Accountability: Maintain meticulous asset tracking and assignment, along with conducting annual physical asset counts to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously refine internal IT processes and knowledge bases, actively participating in projects and tasks to drive improvements.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Technical Proficiency: A minimum of 1-2 years of technical support and ticketing experience, preferably with JIRA, showcasing your ability to tackle diverse IT challenges.
  • Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Office 365, Google Workspace, and cloud app management, enabling you to navigate and optimize our cloud-based environment.
  • Access Control: Familiarity with identity and access management systems such as OKTA, ensuring compliance with security RBAC protocols.
  • Networking Acumen: Solid networking experience to effectively troubleshoot and escalate networking issues when necessary.
  • Device Management: Competency in device management, setup, and troubleshooting, aiding in seamless operations across our technology ecosystem.
  • Effective Communication: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact seamlessly with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with Powershell, JSON, and APIs is a plus, showcasing your eagerness to explore new technologies.

Additional Details

  • The estimated compensation for this position is $65,000-75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus and an equity grant.
