Job Description
This role will be based in Paris

As a member of our Talent Solutions Sales Team, you will be a part of an experienced group of sales professionals who are bringing LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions products (Hiring & Learning). In this sales role, you will have full-cycle responsibility for both driving new business and maintaining an existing book of client relationships. This role focuses on delivering value to Academic sector with a specific focus on developing our partnerships with public universities. Our goal is to provide solutions to help them having significant impact on both students (helping them to get their first job) & their workforce (recruit & develop people skills).
Our team operates like a start-up, so we are looking for candidates with entrepreneurial DNA. You can handle ambiguity and improvise new processes when needed. You are solutions-oriented, have a growth mindset. This role will provide the opportunity to put your own stamp on this territory. Experience implementing a ‘Go To Market’ strategy for Public Sector in this region would position the ideal candidate up for success.
Responsibilities:
- Establish executive-level relationships
- Manage existing and new customer relationships for revenue and relationship growth both over phone, VC and in-person meetings
- Maintain prospecting activity to build a healthy pipeline and increase revenue/market share
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory and provide reliable forecasts
- Act as a brand evangelist to improve awareness & understanding of LinkedIn Talent Solutions
- Close new business consistently at or above quota level
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales partners
- Travel required (approximately 30%) – Field travel and field customer visits
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant sales experience
- Experience with recruitment and/or learning and/or HR softwares and/or SAAS solutions
- Business fluency in French and English
- Ability to manage many prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
- Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
- Experience of long sale cycle requiring multithreading through several prospect’s seniority level or functions.
- Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions with the ability to create fair transactions
- Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
- Experience in Academic / Education sector
