Team Overview:

The mission of the Marketplace Agentic Horizontal AI team is to help LinkedIn create economic value while helping members seek job opportunities and customers to find best candidates to the platform. The team is at the center of the largest LinkedIn business line to drive billion-dollar-level business impact and help hundreds of millions of members find their next job, a complex problem-space with exciting opportunities to revolutionize the digital job marketplace.

The team is to build best practices, frameworks and solutions for Talent Marketplace products to unlock next-generation user experience and product offerings. The team is going to work closely with other teams within the organization to scale up the innovation in the generative AI domain significantly and push the boundaries of utilizing the latest technologies in LLM, genAI, deep learning, NLP, and Machine Learning in general.

This is a full-time engineering role based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities:


● You will start a team with 5 AI engineers to deliver impact through Talent Marketplace
● You will define data-driven product/technology strategic roadmap with cross functional partners
● You will build scalable AI innovations with foundation and infra partners
● You are expected to grow/hire top talents and build a world-class team of passionate engineers.

Basic Qualifications:
● Masters in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience
● 5+ years of industry experience including significant work in the field of machine learning
● Experience leading a team of AI/ML/DS engineers as a people manager for 1+ years

Preferred Qualifications:
● 10+ years of relevant work experience
● 2+ years of management experience
● PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or related fields
● Expert in recommendation system, deep learning, knowledge graph, and natural language processing
● Experience developing large scale systems
● Track record of producing papers in conferences such as KDD, WWW, WSDM, ... and patenting innovations

Compensation Disclosure:
LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $200,000 - $268,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
