The Role

Liquify is looking for a Sales & Operations Associate to join our sales team as we scale the business and support SME exporters in accessing much-needed working capital. This role is a unique opportunity to drive user growth.

At Liquify, we connect SMEs—traditionally excluded from working capital financing—with global capital markets. Our ambition is to close the $1 trillion SME trade financing gap, unlocking economic growth and creating a more equitable financial ecosystem.

  • In the past year, we:
  • Built V1 version of our platform
  • Grew a pipeline of receivables worth $9m, financing $1.5m to date
  • Secured seed funding following 2023 pre-seed funding led by Techstars
  • Established an industry leading team
  • Increased our customers revenue by 20%+

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential SME exporters who would benefit from Liquify’s factoring solutions
  • Drive sales and support lead generation efforts, including research, outreach, and follow-ups
  • Conduct platform demos, manage client onboarding, guiding businesses through Liquify’s platform and funding process and provide exceptional customer supports
  • Visit client sites and factories to build relationships, and assess operational needs
  • Track key operational metrics, generate reports, and collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows
  • Gather insights from SMEs to improve Liquify’s processes and user experience
  • Work closely with the CCO to convert leads into active Liquify users

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in sales, operations, or customer success
  • Experience in fintech, trade finance, or SME lending is a plus
  • Highly organised as you will need to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel for on-site client visits and operational assessments (in Ghana and potentially abroad)
  • A problem-solver who thrives in a startup environment and is eager to drive change
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with business owners and stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set
  • English proficiency in reading and writing; local languages are a plus
