Accountabilities
- Creative direction: Inspire and coach your team of designers to create compelling, effective, and brand-building marketing creative.
- Process management: Architect an effective and efficient process for our creative pipeline and an organized and effective approach to our asset database.
- A+ team: Lead an A+ Marketing Creative team by recruiting talented people, accurately assessing talent, making quick executive decisions, and providing the team strategic direction, mentorship, and accountability.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in creative marketing, creative services, creative production management, or marketing asset management, ideally within a fast-paced e-commerce, DTC, or consumer goods brand. Proven experience managing the end-to-end production of high-volume digital and physical marketing assets (social, email, web, ads, packaging, rendered images, video) is essential. Demonstrated experience leading or providing direction to creative teams, external agencies, and freelancers.
- Creative Direction & Judgment: A strong creative eye, a deep understanding of visual storytelling for diverse marketing channels, and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Creative Tools & Digital Landscape Acumen: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with creative tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and rendering/3D animation software. Solid understanding of key digital marketing channels (especially paid social, email, web), their specific creative requirements, and performance metrics. Awareness of current AI capabilities and the ability to leverage AI for scaling creative development. Understanding of print production processes and packaging design is a plus.
- Project Management Prowess: Exceptional organizational skills are a must. You possess the ability to expertly manage multiple complex projects, competing deadlines, and diverse stakeholders simultaneously.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence, foster a collaborative environment (especially with remote/international teams), and build highly effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to embrace creativity and innovation to continuously evolve and improve our creative marketing capabilities and deliverables, while rooted by Lovepop’s brand strategy and longterm goals.
- Communication Clarity: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of defining and crafting crystal-clear creative briefs and presenting creative concepts effectively.
- Adaptability: You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, comfortable navigating ambiguity and pivoting strategies based on performance data or shifting priorities.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your leadership in the development and production of high-quality, high-performing marketing creative (digital and potentially physical assets), ideally for e-commerce or consumer brands, is required for consideration.
