Accountabilities
- Lead 3D Asset Creation: Produce high-quality, photorealistic still renderings and dynamic animations of new and existing Lovepop products for all digital marketing channels.
- Establish Visual Standards: Set and maintain best-in-class standards for all rendered assets, focusing on realistic materials (paper texture, foil, glitter, etc.), sophisticated lighting setups, and brand-aligned environments.
- Workflow Optimization: Develop, document, and manage efficient rendering pipelines, leveraging AI in workflow - ensuring assets are produced quickly and consistently to meet high-volume seasonal and product launch deadlines.
- Texture and Material Mastery: Create and apply complex, realistic digital materials that accurately reflect the unique look and feel of our proprietary paper art.
- Combine rendered assets and photography into final marketing visuals for digital campaigns, web PDPs, social ads, email graphics, and printed materials.
- Apply excellent sense of layout, composition, and typography to deliver marketing assets that convert and inspire.
- Ensure Brand Consistency and Asset Adaptation: Adhere to and evolve Lovepop's brand guidelines for visual style, color usage, typography, and image treatment across all design outputs - adapting core visual concepts across multiple platforms and various media specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Product Design, Photography, and Marketing teams to translate physical product details and marketing concepts into compelling, high-converting digital visuals.
- Troubleshooting and Mentorship: Provide technical expertise to resolve complex rendering issues and mentor junior team members on best practices in 3D production.
- Asset Management: Manage and maintain a library of 3D models, textures, and rendering environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in a rendering and graphic design role, preferably within an e-commerce, consumer goods, or digital advertising environment.
- Expert proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Rhino, V-ray, Maya, 3ds Max), and advanced texturing tools for creating photorealistic paper, fabric, and other physical materials. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, with proven ability to execute sophisticated graphic design and layout.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating mastery of both photorealistic 3D rendering (lighting, texture, composition) and high-quality graphic design (typography, layout, visual storytelling).
- A strong understanding of digital marketing goals (e.g., conversion, click-through rates) and how design influences performance.
- Proactive and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume seasonal environment.
