Broker Manager

Lukango is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Broker Manager to join us on a part-time contract basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can hit the ground running, build strong broker relationships, and independently drive volume growth — without needing day-to-day direction.
Key ResponsibilitiesBroker Onboarding
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new broker partners
- Conduct introductory calls, gather required documentation, and ensure brokers are set up and ready to trade
- Act as the primary point of contact during the onboarding journey
Product Education & Platform Demos
- Deliver clear, compelling demonstrations of the Lukango platform to new and prospective brokers
- Explain the product proposition confidently, addressing questions and objections
- Ensure brokers fully understand how to use the platform before go-live
Post Go-Live Support & Activation
- Maintain regular contact with newly onboarded brokers after launch
- Proactively identify brokers who are underperforming or inactive and re-engage them
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate where necessary to ensure a smooth broker experience
Volume Growth
- Actively push for increased submission volumes from the existing broker panel
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the broker base
- Track broker performance and feed insights back to the Lukango team
- Proven experience in a broker-facing or account management role within financial services, insurance, or lending
- Strong ability to present and demo digital platforms to non-technical audiences
- A self-starter who can manage their own workload and priorities without close supervision
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded with a focus on driving results
- Comfortable working independently in a flexible, part-time contract structure
- Existing broker network or relationships in the UK market
- Experience working with fintech or challenger lending/insurance platforms
- Familiarity with CRM tools and broker management systems
